Working with some some of the largest service providers in North America they’re turning the promise of the digital lifestyle into reality, enabling consumers to enjoy any content on any device in any room in the house.
The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for the development, design, and implementation of global marketing and communication programs including digital content, customer references, product launch programs, collateral creation, and event presence to support marketing objectives. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and will work out of our client’s Santa Clara office.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, superb attention to detail, and effective people and team collaboration skills. Ultimately, the position is for someone with a passion for building impactful programs and is a fun and effective team contributor.
Responsibilities
  • Works with product management to develop new product data sheets and product web pages, maintain and update existing product collateral, distribute to global teams
  • Works with sales team to identify impactful customer references, conduct interviews, and develop case studies and testimonials (written and video)
  • Manage digital content and editorial programs for company blog; social channel plans; manage distribution to blog subscribers
  • Works with web developer to ensure web properties are updated and consistent
  • Works closely with marketing director to develop high-value content and campaigns including thought leadership articles, Q&As, white papers, executive bios, and speaking proposals.
  • Works with marketing director to manage annual trade-show and events calendar against deadlines, as well as the swag, collateral, shipping and logistics
  • Work with sales team to process registration and leads for trade-shows
  • Works with and manages contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends.  
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing communications; events management a plus
  • Self-starter with excellent project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and strategic thinking, cool under pressure and strong interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
